Emotive Therapy has proven to be a valuable intervention in resolving absenteeism in organizations. Both for employees who experience traumatic experiences in work and in the private situation and are therefore unable to perform the work (temporarily). The costs of absenteeism for organizations in the event of burnout, over voltage and PTSD are high. On the one hand, this is caused by direct costs in the event of absence (replacement or supervision costs), the costs involved in interventions that are reimbursed (work-related research or track 2 supervision process) or the WGA costs if it appears that the employee is entering the WGA. Even if the organization is affiliated with the UWV, the costs of WGA inflow will be charged on. Emotive therapy can be offered as part of the personal development of employees. And can be used to prevent (long-term) absence. Even when absence occurs, Emotive Therapy can be used as a supplement or alternative for the psychologist or POH. In the enclosed factsheet you can read about the contribution Emotive Therapy makes to optimizing the well-being of your (sick) employee.
